Privacy Policy (SVN Browser / SVNBrowse)

Thank you for using "SVN Browser" (SVNBrowse, hereinafter "this app"). This app is a read-only SVN repository browser and file-fetching tool. We take your privacy seriously; this policy explains how this app handles your information.

1. What data we collect

This app does not collect any personal data. Specifically:

• This app has no account system and does not require registration or login;
• This app contains no ads, analytics, crash reporting, or any third-party SDK;
• This app does not access your contacts, photo library, location, microphone, camera, or any other sensitive permission;
• This app transmits no data to the developer or any third-party server.

2. Data you enter in the app

• Repository metadata you add, such as SVN repository URLs and usernames, is stored only locally on your device (UserDefaults) and is never uploaded to any server;
• When you choose "remember password", the password is stored only in the device Keychain, readable only on this device, never written to any plaintext file, and never leaves your device;
• When you browse, query logs, or download files, the app actively connects to the SVN server you specify, based on your actions, sending that server the necessary requests (paths, credentials, revision information). This data transmission is required for the app's core functionality; the target server is entirely your choice, data is sent only to that server, and the developer never handles this data;
• Downloaded files are stored in the app sandbox cache directory (Caches/downloads/); you can delete them with one tap under "Settings → Clear Download Cache".
• When you actively send a feedback email, the email is sent by you, the content is written by you, and the developer only receives what you explicitly send.

3. Third-party services

This app embeds the following open-source components (all Apache-2.0 licensed; full license texts are available in-app under "Settings → Open Source Licenses"):

• Subversion 1.14.5 (version control client library)
• APR / APR-util (portable runtime library)
• serf (HTTP client library)
• OpenSSL 3.2.1 (TLS cryptography library, used only to establish standard HTTPS connections)

These components are statically linked into the app and make no network requests that send data to the developer or any third party.

4. Data retention and deletion

• Repository list and usernames: stored locally on the device; deleted together with the repository, or all removed when the app is uninstalled;
• Remembered passwords: stored in the Keychain; you can clear them all with one tap under "Settings → Clear All Remembered Passwords", and they are automatically removed when the corresponding repository is deleted;
• Download cache: can be cleared under "Settings → Clear Download Cache".

5. Children's privacy

This app does not collect any information from children and contains no content inappropriate for children; it is suitable for all ages.

6. Policy updates

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Effective date". Material changes will also be announced in the app update notes.
